It seems all of the member’s except for Gyuri, want to terminate their contracts with DSP Media Entertainment for a large variety of reasons and have halted all activities.  Overworked schedules, money distribution, lack of trust with the company seem to be the major reasons. You can read more up to date information about it at Allkpop or Gokpop.

It’s unfortunate but not unexpected considering their Japanese sales are in the millions and the girls barely get any slice of it.  I really wish they just work something out because they’re pretty much following the exact same path as TVXQ with their splitup.  If they get blacklisted by the Korean or Japanese entertainment industries, they won’t be invited to appear on music shows which will absolutely suck.  It’s not exactly smooth sailing for Jay Park (formerly 2PM) and JYJ (formerly TVXQ) after they left their companies.   SNSD is probably next, but that would really look bad for SM Entertainment if they let it happen.

Members from previous successful DSP groups, such as Fin.K.L and SS501,  have all signed with other companies after their contracts ended.  DSP clearly isn’t worth staying with.  One good thing out of all this is that Rainbow will probably become DSP’s main group and hopefully get better.
